Cross country skiing
is having a significant  revival at the moment. Rightly so: a strong feeling for nature and athleticism complement one another perfectly. In Maishofen you can use the "Pinzgau-Loipe" (track) and in Saalbach there's a track up on the mountain on Reitkogel.

…there are so many possibilities…
Ride a QUAD in "Glemmy-Park, go snow shoe hiking, ice skating, winter-walking or strolling in Zell am See or Saalfelden.
When bad weather try the indoor swimming pool or the thermal spas in Badhofgastein or Badgastein. Those who don't want to go skiing won't get bored.
