We offer a large breakfast buffet also including organic food, champagne breakfast on Monday,
varied three course dinner with salad buffet, different culinary specialities like Italian pasta buffet and sweet pancake buffet.

Our house "Oberwirt" is a homelike ****stars hotel in alpine style that offers a lot of comfort and sets high value on family-like atmosphere and service.

The comfortable hotel lobby with a beautiful bar invites to stay together with friends. You will also feel familiar in the different rustic restaurant rooms (parlours). If required we can also offer a separate dining room/lounge for the group!

With billiard, table tennis and tabletop football in our common room there will never be a dull moment.

And for relaxing after mountain tours we can recommend our wellness area "Vitalia", with sauna, sanarium (steam room), dip tank, steam sauna, infrared booth, whirlpool*, solarium*, Kneipp basin and restrooms!! (*=for a small fee).

• The beautiful 68 ski departure from Saalbach-Schönleit'n to Viehhofen is open again, and was prepared very well - great fun for all guests.

The bus can be parked next to our house or on the nearby public car park.

Our house "Oberwirt" is in Viehhofen at the beginning of the "Glemmtal" at 856 m sea level. Viehhofen is a small, family like village with 560 inhabitants, a beautiful little church, some nice bars, a grocery and a bank!

The ski bus stop to Saalbach is in close proximity to the hotel and the beautiful '68 slope ends next to the hotel. Another plus of the Oberwirt is the location of our house in the small resort Viehhofen. Just outside the big hustle and bustle, but close to the well known locations Saalbach-Hinterglemm and Zell am See. Other destinations like the city of Salzburg, Kaprun with the glacier and many more, are available from Viehhofen in short time.

You won't need a "Vignette" (highway tax disc) for your journey to Viehhofen or the most important destinations you want to go (coming from Germany, the Neatherlands or Belgium)!!
